All Power To The People!
3:43 silent loop

Partially an inside joke about predictable tropes in movement posters (born of my years working with political print-makers), and partially a meditation on the power of icons and symbols, this video is the result of scouring the collection at the Interference Archive and the flatfile drawers at Justseeds Artists' Cooperative for all of the instances of raised fists on prints, posters, and the covers of publications that I could find. This video is available for use and remixing through a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license.

This online version of the video shows the full spread in three consecutive loops (~360 images per loop).

Lincoln Cushing has a great article on the history of the clenched fist in resistance graphics here.
