"Predator vs. Prey (surveillance)"
taxidermy mannequins, enamel, live pinhole camera w/ video feed, fingerprints (2005) detail

The stark forms of rabbits and coyotes, taken from the rigid foam mannequins used in taxidermy, are shuffled and rejoined. Clusters of inked fingerprints fill in gaps and splay across the wall around the sculpture. A color pinhole video camera is embedded in the throat of one of the coyote busts - during exhibition, participants can not see the camera, but can observe a grainy bird's eye view of themselves through a small aperture in the wall at eye level.
